Me, MAx & Zoe

About Me

I’ve been working in the interactive recruitment space since 2000. Before that, I worked in Human Resources Development, Recruiting, and Marketing – all of which seemed to fuse well with my interest in technology to create a good background for this field. I’ve been employed at Bernard Hodes Group for the majority of my career in this space, with a very brief “sabbatical” at Yahoo! Hotjobs.   I’m currently serving as Vice President, Interactive Sourcing & Strategy, building and overseeing the interactive sourcing team and helping our clients navigate the digital side of recruitment.  I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.S. in Psychology – Go Saints!

On the personal side, I current reside in New York City (which can sometimes be hard for a Red Sox/Patriots fan). I’m a runner, equestrian (when I find the time), skiier, sailor, hiker, traveler, and more. I also am the proud owner of two little mutts, Max and Zoe.

About This Blog

I’ve started this blog to join the discussions that are taking place on interactive recruitment. I’ve had a lot of experience helping clients take advantage of this medium, using the best solutions for recruitment to increase return on investment. Most people who know me know I have an opinion on everything, so this gives me a place to share it. New technology pops up daily, but I’ll definitely be posting about:

  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Search Engine Marketing
  • Virtual Recruitment
  • Banner & Email Advertising
  • Rich Media
  • Mobile Marketing
  • Bluecasting
  • Online Video/Pre-Roll
  • RFID
  • Social Media & Networking
  • Online Communities
  • Blogging
  • ATS integration
  • Podcasting
  • Virtual Hosts
  • Relationship Marketing
  • External Referral Programs
  • Digital Metrics & Analytics
  • And more
